Some bloke who calls himself Jim Rohn at some point in his life once said, "you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." Needless to say, I'm doomed.
In terms of the company you keep, you were doomed the second you picked psychiatry as your calling. They say physicians die of their specialty...that's why, as an aspiring infectious disease guy, I only eat deep fried food; I could die of bacterial endotoxins, but I am immune to cardiovascular problems.
